Bluestar's Prophecy[]

At the beginning of the book, Moonflower is seen with her two kits, Snowkit and Bluekit.
Moonflower is seen to be fiercely protective of her kits, as first shown when Snowkit eats poppy seeds. A minor thing indeed, but Moonflower is extremely concerned and demands knowledge of her kit's condition. Goosefeather reassures her Snowkit will be fine after a good sleep. Moonflower is still obviously wary, but lets Snowkit sleep.
When Bluekit and Snowkit become apprentices, she is very proud of them both. She goes to the Gathering with Bluepaw. Pinestar has been planning a raid on WindClan, she tells Bluepaw she will always be with her.
During the attack on WindClan, Moonflower steals into the rival Clan's camp and attempts to destroy the medicine supply. Hawkheart, the medicine cat who was previously a warrior, confronts her, attacks her, and kills her with a fatal bite to the neck. Pinestar brings her body back to camp and keeps a vigil. Many of her Clanmates mourn her loss greatly.
At the end of the book, she gives Bluestar one of her nine lives, the gift of love.
